Reunion?? Smalltown will be playing in Sweden this summer. The Joy!

20 Dec 06.

We've recorded our last gig at Elm Street. The DVD will be available through this site or www.myspace.com/smalltownramblers in a matter of weeks.

20 Dec 06.

Smalltown Ramblers have decided to put the Rambling-shoes on the shelf, and call it a day. We did our last gig at Elm Street in Oslo just before Christmas. We'd like to think we've given up while we were still at our best. Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to support us through concerts and buying our records!

8 Oct 06.

We have a new drummer! His name is Svein Aage Lillehamre. He's mean, he's tall, he's better than us all! We'd like to thank Petter, our former drummer, for sticking with us as long as he did. He now moves on the greener pastures elsewhere.

20 Sep 06.

Here's how it goes. We'll be doing a double-gig at the 16th of December. One at 20-hundred hours (20:00) and one at approx. 23:30. The reason for this being that we would like the youngish audience to be able to stomp their feet without being intoxicated by alcoholic beverages. There's of course no reason for you not to attend both if you're more than 18 years old! The gig at 23:30 will be with additional band members, or as we like to call it, The Smalltown Ramblers Orchestra. Both gigs will be at Elm Street, Oslo. The gigs will be coordinated and duly planned not to interfere with the famous Carburetors gig at John Dee the same night

20 Sep 06.

A small reminder. You'll be able to both see and hear Smalltown Ramblers in a new movie called "Kalde Fotter" scheduled for release 27.10.06. Be sure to show up for it, seeing it probably is the first (and last?) movie ever to feature Norwegian Rockabilly!

It boggles the mind. Why would anyone want our twisted faces and less than beautiful bodies in their movie? We don't have the answer to this at the moment. Last week we were all "playing band" in the recording of the new norwegian movie "Kalde føtter", or "cold feet" as you would say in swahili. That means you'll be able to se us with powder in our faces sometime next autumn in a cinema near you. How Strange!
